I-Lab, the Innovation Contest, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation in partnership with Bpifrance, promotes the results of French research through the creation of innovative technology companies. It supports the best projects thanks to a commitment from the State through funding, labeling and reinforced communication.
In 22 years, the i-Lab contest has become the reference in the world of innovation and a veritable driver for identifying and financing startups working on breakthrough innovations. This year 73 winning projects, including the 10 Grand Prizes, were selected by the jury of experts chaired by Florence Séjourné, CEO at Da Volterra and President of the Beam Alliance.
The i-Lab winners are also pre-selected for the Netva program, a support program that facilitates the establishment of French deeptech startups in the United States. Two Agoranov startups participated this year: Deepsense (a cardiac and respiratory monitoring device for very premature babies) and Kiro (an artificial intelligence platform for medical biology).
