Startup Plume Labs, incubated at Agoranov in 2014, acquired by AccuWeather.
Plume Labs develops personal sensors that monitor air quality as well as a real-time pollution weather application.
AccuWeather and Plume Labs had already entered into a partnership to supply the American giant's weather forecasts.
“After four years of in-depth collaboration, we have joined our long-time partner and investor, AccuWeather Group, to operate as its climate and environmental data center, with a focus on AI for climate.” Romain Lacombe & David Lissmyr, Founders of Plume Labs
"This alignment was a natural fit with AccuWeather's core mission of saving lives. Plume's solutions have been integrated into AccuWeather's forecasts, including numerical ones, on our accuweather.com site and app.
It's this fusion of skills that continues to empower our users and audiences to make the best decisions based on weather conditions." said Steven R. Smith, President of AccuWeather.
Congratulations to Romain Lacombe & David Lissmyr and to the whole team!
Good continuation !
